Saturday Evening Get-together
Saturday Night Dinner in beautiful surroundings, good food, good company and 'World Café' conversations.

Welcome drinks in the cloister or gardens
Beautiful surroundings
Imagine sitting in Bristol Cathedral's Chapter House, part of a historic and grand cathedral dating back over a thousand years and within 5 minutes walk of the conference venue. A grand entrance, welcome drinks in a cloister with stained glass windows along one side, dinner in a hall with elaborate wood carvings and stone pillars. If, like last year, we are lucky enough to enjoy a warm summer's evening, welcome drinks will be served outside in a lovely garden.
Good food
Dinner will be honest home cooked South American food, served by a warm and friendly Chilean family who has been running one of Coen's favourite cafés for many years.
With dessert the 'World Café' starts, led by Judy Barber.

Dinner and World Café in the Chapter House
Good company and 'World Café' conversations
Between us we'll settle on a good discussion question that grows from exploring our conference theme of "Hope and Inspiration". Then people will move around to form new groups and move again a couple of times as the conversations evolve. It will be a very pleasant and interesting way of sharing with a variety of wonderful coaches, new friends and old.
The World Café is a brilliant form because listening, speaking, and writing and drawing in colour on the paper tablecloths are all welcome contributions. As you move around you get to see the records of the other groups and the conversation changes and grows in fascinating ways, moving beyond individual ownership of ideas into something new and potentially profound.
Talking is fine: listening is fine - as are thoughtfulness, humour, doubts, frivolity, eloquence, theories, appreciation, good questions, giggles, soothsaying and imagination. And along the way Judy may add in a few nice surprises.
The World Café concludes with those who wish to share our gems with the whole group, inspiring and motivating us all - a wonderful opportunity to deepen and enrich our experience of being together for our Coaching Conference.
